Seems that a damage claim has been opened dealing with a tow I did on a bus... Look at the pictures and tell me what you think.. Remember I drive a Pete with an AATAC Titan 50 on it.. Posts: 47 08/12/08 05:36:41	Yup, undecked with chains instead of a round sling. Even with a sling it probably should've had additional protection on the bumper. Have fun explaining that to a motor club who doesn't even know what undecking is. jeff@southsidewrecker.biz

Remember its a a tow on this tour bus... And of course you can see the brand on it and figure out who the club is... Posts: 32 08/12/08 15:12:54	Ok, i will try again. you were called to tow it in by the owner, upon arrival the owner wants you to bill the tow to the motor club, since motor clubs are scum who do not pay you tell the owner with a smiling face that you can not bill the motor club but you will be more than glad to tow it the owner will simply pay you and he may submit the invoice to the motor club for payment. the owner agrees you get the tow upon arrival at the ford dealer they dont have an empty bay for it so you leave it outside. the next day the dealer is unable to push it in by hand, so they call the motor club hotline. mr cheap tow arrives at the dealer in his f-350 and quickly realizes that his pro-star wheel lift wont pick it up. so he plops the old sling out on the 440, hooks the chains around the hooks on the motorhome, the back into his sling. he lifts the truck up and backs in the bay for the dealer. he unhooks, spits on his finger and rubs the marks left on the bumper, then drives off. end of story. hows that answer?

I was called by the motor club to a different bus company who has a few "OLDER TRUCKS" and they towed it to their shop... They could not fix it and so I got the call from the motor club and upon arrival they were "reinstalling the driveline" and going to replace the fuse for the ECM... So I got a GOA .. About a hour and a half later, I got called back to tow it to the dealershi, and I did... But I did not notice the scratches on the bumper... And of course the "bus company mechanic" says they did not tow it at all... "To be honest, I'm more worried about what the government can do to me than what they can do for me."
