A & B Towing = 230000.00 per year A Superior Towing = 68000.00 per year EMS Towing = No Bid HTS Towing = 120001.00 per year Westway Towing = 195000.00 per year This is a 5 year contract , details to follow Brett If You Cant Raise The Water Lower The Bridge............................. Posts: 1 01/10/08 21:43:26	Brett the contracts must work diffrent there. Is this the amount you pay for the contract and what all kind of towing do you do for the contract. Just wanting to compare because i have all the police contacts where I am at.

Posts: 29 01/10/08 23:03:30	this is a yearly franchise fee paid to the city for the right to tow in there city. this includes city vehicles for free + police required tows also..the franchise fees are paid quarterly .. It seems a bit strange, but they might consider it a franchise fee type of deal to do business... "To be honest, I'm more worried about what the government can do to me than what they can do for me."

I assume that they take into consideration the different equipment capabilities of each company, as well as other criteria they get scored on.? Around these parts, tho it does vary by city, we have to kickback a percentage of the gross, plus collect some taxes for them too. And tow all their crap for free (which thankfully isn't very often). Some city's this includes the public works stuff, other city's the public works is a separate deal. Either way theres always someone sticking their hand out wanting something, never ends........ Show me the money!

Its a BIG deal as they are like a HUB, They have Huge amounts of traffice that flows through them... Going to Ft.Lauderdale and Miami...and going North and south,east and west....
