We were Called by the T.H.P. to Impound one of their T/T's Today due to the Driver being arrested for a Weapons Charge & They also put the Trailer out of Service for (2) Rt. Rear Trailer Tires being bad. We Towed the Tractor in and Pulled the Trailer in with our Tractor. The Company Called and Gave authorization to Repair what ever the Trailer Needed to Get it back on the Road Legally as to what put it out of Service by the Highway Patrol. When it came time to Back the Trailer into the Shop to replace the Two Tires - The Rt. Rear Brakes wouldn't Release & you could hear Air Bypassing in the Trailer's Air Tanks. I advised the Driver of this ( After he got Bailed out of Jail ) and he said it takes him @ 5 min. for his tractor to get the Brakes Released & for the Air to build back up. He call's his Company and they call us back Complaining that they WILL NOT Pay for anything other than the Tires - If we Do Any Repairs to the Trailer Brakes they WILL NOT Pay for it !!! So, I Replace the Tires where the Trailer sit's and Finally after another hour & a Half ... I get Paid by Western Union !! The Driver goes to leave and the Brakes Still won't release - He calls his Co. and they tell him to Back the Brake off - NOW he has NO Trailer Brakes at all !!!!! Beware of them half a%% fixing their Trucks and then they can ONLY Pay you with a Credit Card that has a $ 500.00 Limit per day on it ! The Trailer's Air Bag's wouldn't air up and the Service Brakes on the Trailer wouldn't work Even though the other Three wheels Rolled & the One was Locked up - This Told me that the other Three Brakes were out of Adjustment & That's why the Service Brakes were Not Working. Sound to me like a Small Company that want's to Blame all of their Problems on You & Me and then Refuse to Pay you when you Try to repair the Unit
