I have noticed for a while him digging old post out. Its ashame that site is headed in the direction its going. There is alot of usefull info over there from all the years of posting.

Do not worry, as there are others who have had the same thing happen to them.

As to tracking the IP, sure I can pop over to the admin side here of my board and see all that I need to about you, but I could care less about what or where you are from other than if you are posting spam...

411 has got to big and that equates problems in controling the masses, and that is really the truth. No more freedom there, and that is what a lot of people are finding out the hard way.

Have you noticed that he is digging a lot of older posts back out and making them look current ???

Well I just got baned from the big one by the ruller of all that is TowZone because I wont post my info and phone # LOL And then told my IP # was traced, (SO FUNNY!) traced, any admin can see them all and any one can ping it.

I am going to have to think about it for a day or two to see if I want mess with it or not .. could be fun for a few days.

I think I'm glad to be on the fringes.... But I do enjoy and value the various towing forums. As in most industries, there is value in searching archives of the largest, and there is value in the great advice offered in the trustworthy family-like relationships formed in smaller forums.

I have to go rant a bit here, and it will be a controversial subject to many.

Now there are a lot of places to get information about towing, and many of them are online, but I happen to own one of the towing forums, www.priceperpound.info and it deals with many subjects and of course use of the Price Per Pound billing method for heavy duty truck wrecks.

That billing method is one where not many people understand it and many are opposed to it. But we will not get into that discussion here as that is not the intent of the rant.
