the only real good rates that I know of right off hand are the ones used in Chattanooga under their police contracts. I am not sure if the rates are the same still but this is what I have as being able to be charged... Yes Price Per Pound is allowed and used there....

I got the key to the gate and was there for like 10 minutes or so. Thanks a million for your patience and guidance. It's time to think about our rates and do some adjusting on the pennies. I'm lucky in that we know what it costs to start our trucks and move them down the road. Now I need to do a little research on what the market will bear. We're not interested in pricing fixing or testing the upper limits of what the market will barely tolerate, but we gotta keep the lights on. Do you have suggestions on where I might look to find rates...

AIR CUSHIONS

I'm still a little fuzzy about how you're charging for air cushions. Do you use the lower air cushion rate chart, and then add an air cushion charge to the end? I guess I'm thinking, since you're using a separate rate chart for air cushion recoveries, why not absorb the cushions into an increased ppp charge, eliminating the need to add a charge at the end of the invoice? (Recoveries not requiring cushions result in lower invoice...

More and more I am finding myself in the position of writing up recovery invoices. My guys do an okay job of training me to use ppp, but I'd like to know more about it. I missed the opportunity to go to Tennessee, so I'm going to ask some specific questions as they relate to the schedule that you have posted. If you aren't comfortable answering here, I understand.

1. What standards do you use for "inclement weather"? Can you suggest pros & cons or offer your preference of providing your standards on your invoice vs keeping them to yourself or offering them only when asked?
