Marshall Rigsbee suspected something wasn&#39;t right when his car was towed from the Chevys restaurant parking lot in Clackamas Promenade last month, even
though he was certain it was legally parked.

He called Set Towing and found himself talking to Ryan Patrick Joynt.

  <span>A physically disabled woman was told &quot;too bad, so sad&quot; by a driver from Ultimate Towing after she asked for a ride to the lot where the
  company had towed her car, she said.

  But walking to the lot was not an option for Ashley Gregg, 24. She uses with a cane due to degenerative disk disease, which affects the spine. She can travel

<p class="null" id="fontSize">Citizen complaints about aggressive towing practices are prompting Davenport&#39;s legal department to write an ordinance dealing
with companies that perform &quot;non-consensual&quot; tows.

Currently, the city has only antiquated ordinances, which aren&#39;t enforced because of concerns about conflicts with the federal Motor Carriers Act,
Davenport Corporate Counsel Tom Warner said.

      <p>Planning to party at Dos Gringos in Tempe this weekend? Watch where you park, lest you leave the club to find an empty slab of asphalt where your car
      used to be. Starting on Thursday nights, local towing companies have been having a heyday hauling vehicles from unauthorized parking spaces. The weekend
      of September 12-14, more than 40 vehicles were towed from the area. In many cases, clubgoers didn&#39;t realize they were parking in tow-away zones, and
      were shocked when they had to shell out upwards of $140 each to retrieve their vehicles.</p>

The towing debate in Rexburg keeps getting hotter, with more and more cars coming to the college town, parking spots are extremely difficult to find.

Understandably students don&#39;t want their cars to get towed, and the owner of the towing company says, that&#39;s great, if you park legally.
