First is a rolled over dump trailer was loaded with frozen apple grinding for a pig farm. The unhooked the tractor and then called us a day later to recover. Used our W45 holmes since their was no room for the nrc in the driveway.

Next was a load of ingots. The driver straped them down in such a way that when he turned the corner the strap actually pulled the top guys off the trailer. After we picked them up the officer onscene wanted us to get a overwidth permit before we hauled them to the next exit.

This is a wrecked trailer I had to put back together in pittsburg Pa and bring it back to Lockport. All they wanted was the freaking refer unit. I should have cut...

it was a fun job with a trailer that was not in good shape. and of course the slope is totally different than in the pictures... We ended up using 3 trucks to handle this due to the very limited room to work... We had the 2 lanes of the road and about 2 feet of shoulder before it dropped off about 40 feet...

I know it is not a heavy but still worth looking at

Did this one yesterday 9-1-08 Story is foot slipped off the clutch and jumped off the dock. Wasent to bad of a job just had to explain myself about 100 times to the owner of the truck. Finally dad and I just picked it up since he wanted to talk about it more and I was done talking.

Over the ditch Threw the woods and back to the ditch again.

I had this one the day before I left for the show in Lake George and it was the morning after my dad left for the same show. I guess that's what he gets for taking a few extra days off LOL. Driver said the truck would not steer back to the left but you know how that stuff goes. No brake marks either. Took about 2.5 hours to cut the tangled trees out from behind the cab. Caged the brakes on the tractor and ran a service line to the trailer. Unit was empty. All in all a pretty fun job but I am allergic to pines trees and it always seems that they always hit at least one pine tree. Front axle was also tore out so I chained that in before we started winching. I left the name on the door cause it will give you kind of a chuckle. No one was injured except for a couple trees.

How would you bill this one 78,000 # drill rig overturned with fuel leak. EPD and Hazmat on scene for fuel cleanup.
Owner of drill rig contacted insurance company and they were onsite during entire operation.

Tanker crash shuts down Highway 82

EL JEBEL - A tanker truck full of gasoline rolled on Highway 82 Sunday, closing both lanes and spilling gas onto the road.

The wreck occurred at 1:45 p.m. and closed the highway for most of the day as hazardous material crews from Glenwood Springs and the Colorado State Patrol worked to clear the gasoline and truck.

"The driver said, 'I just turned the wheel and I flipped it,'" said Amber DeLuca, who was first to arrive on the scene of the wreck. "He said it was his second day on the job."

This is a job a friend of mine and I did a few months back. Would you say this is a PPP billable job. It is a winch but it is also technically a lift too. I know how it was billed and bill was paid with out questions. How would you try to bill this. I will post how we did after a few responces.

here is a Beechcraft Baron B 55 twin engine plane I recovered when the pilot mistakenly hit the gear up switch while on the runway after landing.. It did a bit of damage to the plane but we managed to get it up without us causing any damage at all.

Now one thing to consider is if you were billing this, would you attempt Price Per Pound. ?? After all its an accident.

But it also only grossed about 6,000. pounds.
